報告人簡介：

劉占平博士是歐道明大學計算機科學系的助理教授（終身教授），他的研究領域包括計算機圖形學，科學的可視化（例如流場可視化和體可視化），信息可視化，并行可視化（作為與科學可視化的并行計算的集成），圖像處理和（大）數據分析。他工作的主要目標是設計新的可視化和分析方法，提供了深入洞察潛在的大規模數據的復雜模式，探討有效的、高效的和高品質的圖像的快速生成算法，并開發交互式可視化分析系統來解決現實世界中的應用。
